  • I have an auntie who was single then, kids left her at home alone. I was 11 or 12. I kept her company in the dark. We were boyh listening to these songs "Moon River" Now i am in her position. Alone, not in the dark. I have Jesus in my heart. The memories of being young is back again. So calming and beautiful. Thank you for the music❤
  • This is the kind of music that makes you nostalgic for an era you didn't even live in.

I am a lover of this type of music since I was a kid 😌 a Hispanic kid who no-one taught to listen to this majestic melodies.

I was a young youth and this album was in my oldest brothers collection, who was 20 years older than me. Many albums I would listen to of these composers over and over again. "The Percy Faith Orchestra." All this collection of all the music we all love. My bother passed away on September 14, 2021 at 84 years old after many surgeries during the covid- epidemic and I lived with him and his wife for the last year of his life on a beautiful lake where their home is and many trips to hospitals and rehabs, I never left his side. He got to pass at his home and took his last breath in my arms. So anyone who is listening to this, I wish you love. .❤❤❤❤❤❤
  • Thanks to YouTube that we can listen to this wonderful music 🎶 any time

While young people's rock'n'roll got all the publicity in the 60s, this was the most popular type of music for everyone else.
  • Memories of college and 1969 wedding listening to Percy Faith on long play albums. Still married and still have the albums..All the best with your memories.

Percy Faith's music makes me teary eyed as it reminds me of all that was beautiful back in the day...there's so much sadness, so much suffering in the world today...how lucky were we to have tasted such musical divinity...
  • Wow!!! I forgot the beauty of those days, both of my parents are gone but I remember Dad playing the vinyl 33rpm as one of his favorites, I was just a little kid but I remember, thank you, great choice 👍

SENTARSE AL ATARDECER Y DELEITARSE CON ÉSTA MÚSICA, ES COMO UN PREMIO POR VIVIR TANTOS AÑOS. DIOS SEGURO, PREMIARÁ A TODAS LAS PERSONAS QUE HACEN POSIBLE, QUE LLEGUEN A NOSOTROS ÉSTA BENDICIÓN. (El 20/06/23 cumpliré 89 años)

My mom was an accountant at a fancy hotel in the Caribbean. I always remember walking in from the heat into the air-conditioned lobby, and how this music would play in the swanky elevator. I feel those memories in my bones. Give your kids as many good memories as you can.

My parents loved to listen to this music in the 60's. I was too young to really have an appreciation for it back then. I strongly do today, This music is an escape from the crazy upside down world we live in today.
  • @010bobby
Ahhhh.. i was very young and carefree then…Now, in my 70’s… if i can only bring back the last 50 years of regrets, second chances, choices and what could have been …
  • @consv
If only we had music like this today. The 60's were special.

I am 67 and I remember A Summer Place playing in 1962 and 1963 traveling with my parents in Texas. A lot of time has passed but those songs from this period are so wonderful and bring back good memories.
  • Now bed ridden , this album takes back to a lost age . Tears streaming down from both eyes .
