Back in 1970, when I was fifteen, I realice that two of the songs that I liked the most: Rain Drops and Close to you were written by Burt Bacharach, and then I found that This guy is in love with you, and The Look of Love, were also his compositions, so ever since he has been my favorite composer and I think the most important composer of popular music, in the second half of the XX Century. Rest in Peace Master Bacharach, and thank you for the best music possible. Greetings to everybody from Bogotà.

1960年代～バカラックのおしゃれなメロディライン、映画などで何度耳にしたでしょう。 カーペンターズの“遙かなる影（(They Long to Be) Close To You）や雨にぬれても（Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head）”など、mellowで情緒たっぷりの名曲ばかりです。バカラックが残した名曲たちは、これからも心を癒してくれるでしょう。

バート・バカラックという名は昔からラジオでぼんやり聞いていたけれど、今聴いたこれらの名曲が全て彼の作った曲ということを今初めて知った。音楽通の人から「お前は馬鹿だ！」と突っ込まれても何も言い返せない。改めてバカラック様の偉大さを思い知りました。

高校生の時にディオンヌ ワーウィック が好きで聴いていたのを思い出します。 バート バカラックの曲は歌詞もメロディもソフトで心地よく、洗練されていて50年経過していても、変わらず好きです。 ありがとうございます。

Amé su música y estilo desde los años 70as, dedes que escuche...Gotas de lluvia caen en mi cabeza en la película Bucth Casidy . En la que actuaron R.Redford y Paul. Inolvidables Newman .😢❤. All of his songs are my favorites, but I never know the name of the artist. Not until I have read about Burt Bacharach a great singer composers. Although he has passed away his songs will live with us for the longest of time. RIP Burt Bacharach, thanks for the music you left behind for us to reminisce.
