This is music from my father and mother's generation; they both would have been 100 this year (2023). Miss them so very much, especially during the holidays. I can just imagine them dancing to this sweet and gentle music. "Thank you" for posting this. There is STILL an audience for these lovely tunes!

I read many of these comments by other folks my age, 64. I have nothing to add any better. MOST BEAUTIFUL!. If only nowadays kids and young adults would revive it. THE WORLD WOULD BE BETTER!❤😂😊

When I was a little girl in the early to mid 1960's, music like this would play on one or two of mom's favorite radio stations. She also bought records of music like this. How I miss the cozy, serene ambiance of those times! Thank you for reviving this music!

Started listening to this music in 1946, and I haven’t stopped. This is class!

When America was America. Not a cesspool. Family oriented church goers .. number 1 in manufacturing across the world .

I remember as a little boy of 5, back in 1965, listening to music like this, sitting at the kitchen table, making play-doe figures while mom was in the kitchen cooking dinner; humming and swaying on the dance floor of her imagination. We had albums and albums of this type of beautiful music that my mother would play throughout the day. Such evocative music. Though those days are long gone, the beautiful memories of her are brought back as I listen to this fabulous collection. Thanks for the memories.

Quiet music for quiet listening transports me back to the good ol’ days; one of the best gifts in eons.

Readers Digest had some really nice music collections on mail order in the 80’s. I have this album on vinyl, my treasure. Real music.

I remember hearing this kind of music in the old movies I grew up watching on TV in the 60s and 70s. Then I found out that you could buy this music on LPs and tapes. It was usually performed by 101 Strings, and I loved it. I have several albums. ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

My grandfather used to have a lot of Reader's Digest records when I was a kid in the 80s. He'd play them up loud while he gardened, and I'd be soooooo bored, hating the music. But I wonder if the familiarity of them is why I can enjoy this so much, at 50. This one actually looks very familiar, so I can't help but think I heard these actual songs while staying at his house. Youth really is wasted on the young - it's gorgeous music!
  • Very nostalgic with sense of being in the mood of bringing back memories. Thank you so much for this lovely music. Missing my dad and mom. 😢

I have seen many many changes in my lifetime over the past 76 years, and some changes were not for the better ..I am thankful that I grew up in the 60's and have appreciation for wonderful music like this.
