Placed an online order for food. Was REQUIRED to TIP before I could check out. Decided to go pick it up....still required TIP...Called the order in ....still wanted a TIP......Told them to pay me for my gas to come pick it up.

73 yo woman here. I get a pretty small SS check, but I live frugally own my own place and have no debt, thank God. This is the first month I have not been able to handle my basic expenses without dipping into savings. Just car insurance, groceries, internet, power and gas. I really can't cut much more. Don't even have a pet. My savings are somewhat shielded from inflation, but an accident or medical could really deplete them. Hard times are here. Good luck to all.

I have a Christmas stocking business (handmade in USA 30 years) and i start promoting in July bec as we get closer to Xmas people are broke. I have not raised my prices in 20 years and planned an increase for August but canceled it bec I truly care about the hardships people are having. 🎄

Best scam I've seen lately ..is the toll road scam. Your traveling the highway and you get a text supposed to be from the toll road to pay a toll .by card .. Before you reach the toll booth .. so you pay and Ignore the booth. And get nailed for dodging the toll because the text was FAKE . It's someone pretending to be a down auto on the side of the road sending texts and stealing credit card information
