  • @ar.78
there's a special place in heaven for people who post full albums on youtube
  • Fun Fact: The slipknot album Iowa was so big, that they named a whole state after it.
  • Just here to listen to Joey Jordison's best drumming after his passing. This man taught me how to groove and still be brutal. RIP
  • R.I.P Joey Jordison, one of the most hardcore drummers of all time, you'll allways live in the music of the newest generations whom you influenced and will influence with your killer style
  • @ttfd
You don't need friends if you have this album.
  • This album will always hold a special place in my heart. It got me through some awful shit in my teens. My parents were worried when they heard this blasting from my room, when in actual fact it was this album that got me through the worst of it! I'm so glad I found slipknot 16 or so years ago, I praise this band for allowing me to take my anger out through music and not on myself. Iowa still feels like a stress reliever when I listen to it. I owe these guys a lot.
  • Slipknot is the definition of angry, pissed off and hating the earth. I listen to a lot of death metal etc, but nothing really compares to slipknot's first two albums. So much anger, so much hype, everything about those two albums makes someone wanna punch holes through people's torso's.
  • When all you want to do is scream till your vocal chords collapse but you physically can’t let out a faint breath of air. This is the album that is that scream that’s building up inside. Slipknot has saved me from putting a bullet in my skull
  • @shimeji_e
i am 150 and still rocking to this album in the grave
  • I lived a privileged life so at the time when I hadn't yet experienced anything bad I couldn't see the appeal in Slipknot. Give it a few years with a streak of awful events piling up and I slowly started to lose it. Two of my friends were killed by a drunk driver, a couple of family members were dying one by one in the same year, and I woman I loved left me. That same year I remember holding a .357 Magnum to my head. Believe me when I say, in the strangest way possible that Slipknot saved me. I saw them live and was severely hurt in those mosh pits where I found myself again. I've been calm like Buddha ever since. Thank you Paul and Joey. You guys saved me from myself.
  • @YS3Caero
I believe listening to this made me a peaceful individual.
  • 20 years old today, and still one of the most important albums I've ever come in contact with. Happy Anniversary, Iowa
  • this album was my therapy back in my late teens This album is pure hatred I turn the world OFF when I listen to this album 🖤🤘🏻
  • I was in highschool when this album came out, what time to be an angry bullied teenager. Thanks to this kind of music now i am a happy adult with everything went better than expected.
  • I still can't get over how people still judge this band, it's as if they don't appreciate or understand the skill, talent, originality, and love of music it takes to create such musically diverse and unique MUSIC!!! Slipknot forever!!!
  • I'm a math teacher. My students asked me last week what kind of music i like. I send this on Microsoft Teams. Now, they work when i say it.
