Here's my Rain Bird 808 Turf Bird full circle impact sprinkler running on a 2 inch (50mm) water supply. It has a 1-1/4" (32mm) inlet, 3/8" (9.5mm) main nozzle, 5/32" (4.5mm) spreader nozzle operating at 61 PSI (4.2 bar), 36 GPM (8.2 m3/h). In another video I have this sprinkler running on a 100 PSI water supply with only a 3/4" hose, it definitely runs much better on the larger supply line in this update video!

  • Thank you for the wonderful video, Very good quality, watched it with great pleasure, Have a nice week !
  • Fantastic sprinkler, looks like it covers a very large area, and good job for taking care of your yard, it looks beautiful.
  • That covers some ground too. And runs on your pump very well. My equivalent to this is my nelson f80, although it doesn't look as cool as yours.

Almost double the PSI makes a difference for sure.👍
  • There is a golf course like 15 mins away that has these scattered all over the course. Of course they're rusted pretty bad but still work.
  • This takes the same nozzle as a 80 or 85 correct? There's one on ebay for like 135$ that is missing the drive nozzle. Also the threads are kinda damaged so I'm not sure if I would be able to get a nozzle in it for operation.
  • I was just a kid when I saw one of these for the first time. I thought they must throw water ten miles.
  • Frank from eBay said he has a few 808s but they are not pretty like yours. but they do work he said... I forgot to ask how much for one though.

Can it even be considered a impact sprinkler at that point 😂 you could replace the end fun on a pivot with that
  • It almost sounds like it tries to double tap a little I can hear it almost tap 2 times, the beat is a bit off
