I am 62 years old and just now listened to this album for the first time. What a fantastic work, not a boring moment on it. I can't believe I am so late to the game, but better late than never!

This album destroyed all my chances of a normal life and sent me headlong into a musical career. I thank the universe for sending it to me.
  • Historically underated, this is one of the most important and influential albums in the history of the genere.
  • My favorite Priest album. Every song front to back. Halfords voice is at it's best, everything on point.

"Beyond the realms of death" is real masterpiece of masterpiece from entire songs of Judas Priest.
  • I love the production of the early Priest albums, it sounds so crisp and clean.
  • This album was not a commercial success. But, I think it was their most Innovative and pure album.

First time I smoked weed in '79,' the uncle of the dude who smoked me out, turned me on to THIS ALBUM! Even though I didn't actually get high on the first try, I did leave with something even better---the name of this album, and the motivation to buy it on the next allowance payday. And so it began, and has never ended. Mad props to the KINGS OF HEAVY METAL!!!

Hands down some of the most groundbreaking music ever recorded... Sabbath & Judas Priest... There wouldn't be any Metal without these guys...

Was taking drivers ed during the summer 1978, getting baked between the morning and afternoon sessions and listening to this shit. No one can ever say there was a better time to be alive.
  • Les binks is a phenomenal drummer . Those barely audible drags he does on the snare really bring his beats to life and his Toms sound great not to mention his double bass work on white heat red hot.

The guitar work on this album is incredible.
  • I'm floored that there is only 289K listens on this. I don't care about genre of music, this is one of the best records ever recorded. People need to get off their Facebook, Twitter, whatever it is they do and get educated about music. The only weak part of this recording is the end and that is because you have to start it over again cause once isn't enough!
  • A metal masterpiece that will live on forever! I have been listening to Judast Priest since the early 80's
