How to replace the light bulb on your microwave (In my case a Panasonic NN-CT55W)

Most microwaves are made in a very similar manner so this video applies to anyone opening a microwave. Microwaves can be dangerous if you start poking around where you shouldn't be.
Obviously turn the appliance off and leave it for 30 minutes to discharge itself, Wear gloves, and do not touch anything if you do not understand what you are touching. Risk of shock is there as the high voltage cap could still be energized. (you can discharge it to make it safe, by shorting it with a pair of insulated needle nose pliers to across its two terminals)

Most microwaves use the same style of bulb. But I found out the hard way that the terminals are not all the same. So I luckily had a old bulb from a old microwave I salvaged previously.

Panasonic microwaves are the best in my opinion.
