Taking apart a Tapo P100 wifi smart plug - Disassembly

I wanted to take one of these apart to see if it could be modified to just use as a wifi relay, open and close contact, instead of switching the 240v line aka live on and off. So heres a bit of a how to video. Hopefully it helps you open yours.

    Thoughts on the plug saying its rated at 13amp's but the relay is only rated at 10a max for resistive loads and only 3a for inductive?

    It looks to me that it would be relatively easy to encase the board so that it could be used in ceiling spaces as a replacement for the now unavailable HomeEasy devices. If I did that there is often no earth available...so a question, does the device work without an earth.?

    if you insert the side of relay on neutral plug ,the relay will cut-off only neutral line and not the phase,i am corectly?

    the tapo 100 power on but don’t get energy with outlets. Wich component is bad ?

    @rattech Any chance you could tell us the dimensions of the complete PCB once it has been removed from the plastic housing and 3-pins?
