Braised Cabbage (Тушеная капуста) is an inexpensive meal, and very healthy for you with Vitamin K and Vitamin C. Sometimes I think cabbage gets an undeserved bad reputation, this is a great way to introduce it to your family.
Be generous with the butter, I love the flavor that butter adds to this braised cabbage recipe. You can prepare this dish a day ahead and simply reheat as your side dish with your dinner.

Just me and across your channel while looking for a recipe for braised cabbage. Glad I found you, because I love tomato products. Especially tomato paste. It never dawned on me to add a little bit of tomato product to my cabbage. I always add onions and carrots, which I find adds a lot of Flavor and color. Thank you for the recipe.😊

This is my favorite dish. And much-much healthier than pasta.

I cook it all the time. You can cook it using any oil instead of butter. And add any ingredients to your liking. Last time I tried to add beans and love it. You can add some beets as well.
