With as much as we hear how bad this storm will be, we were shocked to see you still out there detecting (but I guess we can't say we wouldn't enjoy the empty beach hunting as long as we could either!) Be safe and good luck for no damage!

I grew up on those beaches. PSA: A rip current will look like a flat area of water running perpendicular to the beach. If you should ever get caught in it, swim parallel to the beach until you are out of it.

You might detect the East Coast where the storm goes back to the Atlantic. My best beach day ever was where a storm left the land and moved back over water.

Now that Idalia has passed, hoping your property and family are safe and well. Riding it out in a Hurricane is not for the faint of heart. We rode out Ida and it was long stressful ordeal. Hope all is well for you there.

Epic as, any hunt with gold is a great succes in my opinion, lucky you got in there before the hurricane. I’ve found after hurricanes can be really good, there was a record big cyclone up in Auckland (Nzs biggest city) earlier this year and I was up there for a few days just after it, went to a small beach that had maybe 3metres of the bank just cut off and up, literally didn’t even need to swing the coil and would be a target usually a coin, you stuck the pinpointer in the cut and you would just get target after target, most of it had already been done but the one maybe 15M stretch that hadn’t we pulled out almost 100 coins, which included a silver ring which at the time was the largest silver ring I had found, gutted I wasn’t up there for longer to do more of the beaches. But yeah after the hurricane could be a great opportunity. Great video keep up the amazing content!
