We shot the video in South Africa, it was unreal, it felt like a holiday - don’t get me wrong, I was shattered by the end but it was a magical experience.

She sounds heavenly.

This video was so different to anything I’ve ever done and I realised during that I was almost having to unlearn everything that I had learned about being in a girl band. In Little Mix, everything’s like energy and you switch on for the camera and it’s very performative. And on this video, I was having to be natural and almost act like the camera’s weren’t there. I’ve never done “acting” before so it was kind of weird, but once I got over that, I honestly had the best time ever and as soon as we wrapped I just couldn’t wait to see the edit and share it with you guys.

My best friend, Alice, was a huge fan of Little Mix, especially Perrie, and she made me fall in love with them too. Together, we traveled to England and attended a Little Mix concert in Liverpool in 2017. We had plans to visit Scotland one day, but now I have to do it alone, in memory of her. On April 12th, the day "Forget about us" was released, my soulmate passed away in the hospital. The fact that she never got to listen to this song or watch its video is unbearable. I will never forget about us; souls live forever and her memory will always live with me 💔

I was not expecting this type of video at all, it's quite the first time I see any artist sporting real freckles. It's something really small and I know it doesn't really matter, but it feels, that as much as we, as a sciety love Y2K aesthetics and makeup, and filters, it's always so nice to see real frekles, and realistic bodies on single music videos.
