  • This recipe is so delicious! My 20 year old son makes dinner once a week. We often request this shrimp scampi and he makes it easily.
  • I've been making shrimp scampi for over 30 years. You should butterfly the shrimp wide open if you want the best-tasting scampi and I never preseason the shrimp. Also I find using finely chopped scallion or green is better than shallots. I've never heard of using tomatoes as well. Also it should be cooked over medium-high heat and cooked fast not slow
