As a person who was never allowed to get hurt as a kid, I want to encourage you to let your children fall sometimes and get hurt a little. I was bubble wrapped my entire childhood and I was never allowed to get hurt and learn from the experience. Obviously there is a line, but sometimes you have to learn how to fall and get back up and try again. I mean, if you fall off a horse, they literally put you right back on, because then you learn from it instead of using your fall as a reason to always be afraid.

Colleen!!!! I am a college nursing student and I graduate this weekend!!! I work in the NICU as a patient care technician and as I will graduate soon I will get the opportunity to be a NICU NURSE!! YOU and the twins are my sole inspiration to become a nicu nurse and i finally get to accomplish my dream!! Watching your videos when the twins were born was my first exposure to the NICU world and I am so excited to now help the families in that position and it’s all cause of your family. I got to meet you at one of your shows in Illinois to tell you this news i don’t know if you remember but i just wanted to tell you i made it!!!

The end made me cry. I feel for anyone who goes through that. How frightening. But the other side is glorious.

I wanted to share that seeing the twins in the Nicu reminded me of myself. I was in the Nicu for 5 months from the time I was born and now you would never guess I was a NICU baby. Seeing the twins in the NICU and those videos and you talking about it actually helps me better understand how my mom felt going through all that and she only had me. She never had any other children and so I couldn’t imagine how it would be if there were two of us or if she had another child at home. You are a rockstar and Maisy and Wesley are absolutely amazing kids. I am usually not the one to comment on videos but I just had to share. ❤❤❤
  • 5:46 that’s definitely a “stand there and have your picture taken” face from Flynn hahaha! 😂😂😂. I used to do this to my kids all the tim

On the Lash lift 💯 looks amazing on you. Also I love when you open the rocks and your rock collection is amazing
  • HUGE eyelash difference! The end of this vid should be a short for every nicu parent!!

OKAYY. I’ve never heard anyone talk about the playground like this before, and I completely agree! I’m always so stressed at the park, and could never understand how other parents SIT on the bench on their phone or something , not worrying or hovering over like a total helicopter mom like me lol 😂

TTQ: Hi, are you gonna put Maisy in some of your childhood dresses? I just re-watched the "trying on my baby clothes video" in which you mention maybe passing on some outfits to your future daughter. Would be such a wholesome moment! Love from Norway

Not you making me bawl at the end!! 😭 I can't believe how far they've come! 💜
  • I SO get the playground anxiety. When I was actively working on it with my therapist my son (under 2 at the time) tripped and fell on a playground bridge and fell through the gap between the walking surface and the bottom row of railing. About a 4.5ft drop. Needless to say, my anxiety at playgrounds never got better and I accepted that I would be a helicopter Mom at parks. My boys are 12+ now and that first fall was the only bad experience thankfully.

I see a difference and love the lashes, totally worth it IN MY HUMBLE OPINION

Huge difference! You should try lash extensions. I stopped wearing makeup on a daily basis because my extensions made me feel so bonita and put together. I swear by them. You can get the natural ones instead of crazy full ones.

When she said “should we open the big one for the grand finale” I was thinking “wow that’s so unlike you Colleen” and then she said “nope!”. And I was like “oh okay that’s better!”😂😂
  • @shmooi796
Big difference with the lash perm! When you said you hadn't curled them or put on mascara I was like whaaat? 😮
  • As a NICU Mama myself, to anyone out there in that situation, I also want to encourage you! You will make it through! I think I will always be able to be instantly transported back there with any little memory, but after almost a month in the NICU my little girl is 4 months old now and big and strong and healthy, and believe it or not there are already days I don't think about it. Those days and nights when you may not be able to stay with your baby are excruciating, but you will eventually bring them HOME where you can snuggle and do all the baths and diaper changes and feedings without anyone overseeing or being in uncomfortable chairs or interruptions from nurses or beeping machines. You WILL get there. Stay strong, I never knew how strong I was until I went through the NICU straight after an extremely long, rough delivery. You can do it!🧡

I love the geodes! Your lashes definitely looked more present to the point I want to try. Tremors and glue near my eyeballs are a bad combination though! Wow seeing the twins as micro babies again really shows how miraculous and wild life can be!

The lash lift looks so good! I can tell a big difference. My grandson was 2 lbs when he was born my daughter had him at 27 weeks and to see his little body fight so hard was so unbearable and the worst pain was having to leave at the end of the night 😢 I know that pain all too well. But he is now almost 1 in June and 20 lbs and so strong!! He fought through RSV and Impetigo. He’s our little super hero ❤️
