What's really scary about Bill is that he doesn't just do what he does because he sees humans similarly to how we see insects, he's just as evil to other all-powerful beings: he murdered his entire species basically out of boredom.

One of the things that makes Bill Cipher such a great villain is that he isn't so hateable that he's hard to watch. The audience needs to hate a villain, but not so much so that it distracts them or makes them not want to watch. Bill was the perfect combination likeable and hateable.

I would love to a sequel series that takes place 5-8 years later where Dipper & Mable return to Gravity Falls to solve a new batch of mysteries, we could see how the rest of the cast as changed since they left, & Bill could still be alive in some way seeking revenge against the Pines family.

The Gravity Falls franchise has been stirring recently. I think a continuation might be on the horizon, and if it is, it had better be a three way crossover with Amphibia and The Owl House.
