Sorry to see this! As an Australian who has lived through a bunch of bush fire seasons sending prayers for the fire fighters putting out the fires and i also hope you all stay safe and the smoke clears soon.
-
I live all the way down in Maryland, and the smoke was bad even here. Our air quality topped out at around 200, which is definitely not as bad as other regions, but still enough for me and much of my friends and family to feel the effects. Currently dealing with a nasty sinus infection as a result. I wish the best of health to all those affected <3

In 2020 in Australia the air was like this for months over the summer bushfires .Canadian fire-fighters came to help us now Australian fire-fighters are in Canada 🇨🇦 🇦🇺❤🙏

Thank you Casey for documenting this with the drone shots, it was absolutely unreal yesterday and today's starting off to look even worse than yesterday morning did.
-
Seeing your high quality drone shots, I'm like playing video games in that environment. Also thanks for getting us to see Ghostbuster 2 scene.
-
Thank you, Casey. I appreciate this. My wife and I had scratchy throats for three days in NJ. Our chickens, which have sensitive lungs, are doing fine.

Thanks for your solidarity Casey. A lot of New Yorkers don't realize but what they're facing now with their air quality is the reality for many Canadians during the warmer months of the year. Last month my father and brother were evacuated from their home in Western Canada due to uncontrolled wildfires, luckily they had somewhere to stay. Some families aren't so lucky, furthermore Canada is so vast and we have such a small population that when these fires start we lack the man power to keep them in control, we often have to get firefighters from other countries flown in to help. Keep us in your prayers ya'll.

love how you document everything. hopefully in the future i can show this to my future kids or grandkids.

I live on long island and when I got out of school it was so yellow out and you could smell the smoke. Just glad nobody with health issues were harmed. Thanks for sharing these cool drone shots for this historic day.

I live 45 min from the fires in northern Ontario .Evacuation in the neighbouring communities is about to begin, it’s a scary time for all. I hope everyone stays safe and doesn’t lose anything. Awesome video as always!
-
Well that didn't take long at all to get this vlog out! Hope the air clears up for all of you down there! On behalf of Canada "We're Sorry"

I went to NYC for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I was looking for you but wasn’t able to see you riding around town. I wanna go back soon I loved the vibe of a huge city. The cultural diversity there is amazing ,and I love to see so many different people from different walks of life appreciate the amazing city of NYC. Love you Casey hope I see you next time.

Sorry from Canada. :( We've been dealing with this every summer for the last six years and it's no fun. I wrote my master's thesis when the air quality in my city actually was the worst in the country and it was awful. No reprieve because you couldn't go outside, couldn't open windows. I taped furnace filters to the back of box fans and they would turn black in a couple days. I hope it passes quickly for you. We've been getting a lot of rain out west, hopefully it heads that way too.

I live in southern Ontario and it smells like a campfire outside every day. This has never happened before, very concerning. Thank you to all the firefighters that are battling the many wildfires in our Country. And thank you to America for sending a lot of them to aid us in doing so.
-
Should have seen the 2019/2020 fires in Sydney. You could only just see the buildings across the road from you. Aussies and Canadians share firefighters, swapping back and forth between the flipped seasons. Was freaky too because everyone was used to wearing masks from the fires, then went straight into COVID

Holy cow I live in Maryland it was smokey here but thank gosh it wasn't to bad. I pray for you guys hope everything is okay I have a friend from New York glad she came here during this time pray for you and your family.

I’m impressed your drone found its way back to you! Great vlog. Seeing you just come on to that gum set was wild

As a Canadian, this is just how it's been the last few years and it's been getting worse and worse. I'm sorry it's affecting you guys down there, but I am very grateful for the increased awareness due to this. I wish we would stop just brushing this aside as if it were nothing. Imagine if we started addressing this when we first found out this was going to be such an issue?...
