Congratulations on being one out of a hundred reactors to understand the story right away. Not kidding. You’re a damn smart girl!
  • @filmsensei
You're the first reactor to catch the meaning so quickly. A lot of people have to rewind it and make sure they heard it right, LOL. Got a new subscriber here:) Want to suggest a little Kenny Rogers if you haven't heard him yet (honestly, you'd be safe picking anything from him). Another tearjerker is Whiskey Lullaby by Brad Paisley & Allison Krauss.

Randy Travis really does have a great voice. He's from an era where country had deep emotions and soul in the songs. He's one of the greats, and I can happily recommend "Everything and All" from him, as well as "Digging Up Bones". Honestly, most of his music. I don't know if one really can go wrong with any song he sings.

The timbre of his rich baritone voice is unparalleled. My favorite Randy Travis songs are Reasons I Cheat; Promises; Take Another Swing At Me; This is Me; Look Heart, No Hands; Spirit of a Boy, Wisdom of a Man; That’s Where I Draw the Line; I Told You So; The Box; He Walked On Water; Three Wooden Crosses; Hard Rock Bottom of Your Heart; It’s Just a Matter of Time; On the Other Hand; and Forever and Ever Amen.

Yeah that's a really good story. If you're wanting more country I'm requesting Kenny Chesney "There Goes My Life" this song reminds me of my life. Great reaction Sassy and I'm impressed because you mentioned the bus driver which no one ever does. Much love ❤️
  • @jonofwndlnjn
You are correct. Also, remember this promised land. Story telling at its finest.
  • Great reaction. Good going on getting the point of the song. The "Hooker" changed her life after receiving the preachers bloodstained bible and the message he gave her before he dies. She goes on to have a family and have a son who becomes a preacher himself - I love these songs of meaning A few more artists with songs of very deep meaning are Clay Walker's The Chain Of Love and David Ball's Riding With Private Malone. Consider doing a video for those.

Good song. And there are so many crosses on the side of roads and highways in Oklahoma. I always wonder who they are when I pass them. Good choice Sassy. I enjoyed it.
  • Nice analysis. So many people reacted to this video without getting it!!!
  • As others have said, great reaction and you caught the message. A lot of people who have reacted to this don't catch on to the fact that the hooker survived and went on to have a son who became a preacher.

Good job on getting it.Another one by him is on the other hand. Also check out Martina MacBride Gods Will,Carrie Underwood Temporary Home and How Great thou Art with Vince Gill and her. Most of the country songs are best with the official video even if you have to copyright screen it too.
  • @loneagle40

Randy is in the congregation and listening to the preacher who's mother read the bible to him. The preacher is the son of the woman that was given the bible. Randy is listening to the story from the preacher.
