Very insightful information, Laughing is one of those mysterious wonders of the world. We don't know how it makes us feel better, it JUST DOES!
  • Everything Roy Wood Junior does is worth listening to! Thank you for featuring him on this important topic.

❤ your work Roy. Please keep on keeping on. I'm so baffled why Comedy Central hasn't rolled out the red carpet for you to the Daily Show's anchor chair. Maybe you have better things are on your horizon.

Roy, your wall in the background is hilarious 😂 My vote is yours for the desk at the Daily Show (I wish they would let the audience vote - you'd win it, no contest)!!

“I want to talk about issues, not people” that’s what was special and what I liked about Beyond the Scenes also… the talking TO people (or strangers, to refer to the interview with Toure) about important issues. I think that is a real strength, to even do that with humor.
  • Hopefully you read this comment, Roy, since you read YouTube comments. I love how you focus more on timeless themes than particular people. I try to do that in my writing as well (20 books and counting, "Matthew Vandenberg author"). (Though I did write a whole book about Kanye as president). Being political and funny is extremely important and totally can change the world.

I stopped watching Ted talks but didn’t realize that they did interviews that are both entertaining and informational

Laughter is the best medicine. Unless you’re asthma, in which case, it’s ventolin.
  • @nothingbutchappy
This is a nice change... A TED talk that isn't a 6 year old telling me about how to be a better person...

Oh no, are they gonna cancel him too? Some ppl are just too fragile to hear the truth. I'm looking at both of you guys on the extreme left and off the charts right.
