Thank you so much! I am a single woman and really could not afford a Plumber, I bought this auger and watched your video several times until I was confident enough to do it and it worked on my first try! Thank you again!

I’m 83 yrs. Savvy DIY son on vacation. But YouTube is solid gold!! Many sincere thanks for contributing to the independence of so many of us fortunate enough to have a snake!
  • i tell ya that first flush when it all goes down no problem - there are fewer comparable joys in life

We tried to unclog the toilet for 20 minutes before we found this video. Took us 5 minutes after we knew what we were doing. Thanks for the simple quick video, saved us a ton of money.

This was SUPER helpful! Thanks to you I used the snake properly, unclogged the toilet clog, didn’t scratch the porcelain, and saved myself $100 by not having to call a plumber!
  • Thank you so much! This 60+ woman was able to clear a clogged toilet after 2 viewings, I would not have figured it out without seeing how it all worked. Thank you for your camera work and your great video.👏🏼

Thank you!!! Had never used a snake before. Watched your video & cleared it in the first try with nary a scratch (after trying plunging 50 million times)!!! Sanity recovered 😻😻😻

Thank you so much. I went to my local home depot and purchased an auger. After watching your video several times I executed it out, my toilet is now flushing right and works like new. Thank you for posting again!!

You sir, are the real MVP... I appreciate that you said it can take up to 10-15 mins bc everytime I wanted to stop- i told myself "it can awhile" ... 10 mins in and we had suction again.... THANK YOU
  • Thanks. This video helped me out a great deal. I was just sticking the snake in the toilet and twisting the top. I know now that it wasn't even going down the drain. However, after I watched this video and began to use the snake properly the toilet began to flush on the 2cd try. About 10 minutes after I began to use it properly. Now I no longer have to go after family and friends to unclog my toilet. Thanks for the clear and proper instructions.

Thank you so much for showing me how to use the toilet snake properly! I used it this morning and it worked!! My toilet is working again.
  • Great explanation. I typically use a plunger but it didn't work this time. I had a toilet snake but didn't know how to properly use it. This video helped and I was able to unclog the toilet in just a few minutes. Thanks!
  • Wow, what great concise directions. Three years ago same toilet was stopped beyond plunger clearing and I paid a plumber $150+ and watched him use toilet snake, but didn't note how he actually did it. This time I saved $100, but my first try didn't work. After watching your video I knew I had to move the snake repeatedly in and out and sure enough after a few minutes the water started draining and it was cleared. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.
  • Thank you thank you thank you! I am a 65-yesr-old single woman readying my condo for sale. I am downsizing and do not need three toilets, or so I thought! One of them needs a stopper replacement in the tank and then last night I managed to plug a second toilet (hence, grateful for toilet #3). Luckily, my teenage grandson lived with me for awhile and he clogged one of my toilets. A plunger did not work, so we bought a snake that looks just like the one you used. That was a couple years ago and when the plunger didn't work on my clog, I went out and got the snake from the garage and Googled how to use it. Excellent helpful video! I unclogged it within a few seconds. Stay safe, stay healthy, and God bless you!👩‍🦳👌💩🚽❤

Thanks for the suggestion about how to get rid of the scratch marks on the porcelain. I made the same mistake of not pushing the covering down over the metal coil, and scratched the porcelain pretty badly. When I asked my local hardware guy if there was a way to get rid of those scratches, he said that, unfortunately, there wasn’t, that I was just stuck with them. So I’d been looking at all those scratches for about a year, had another clog, watched this video, followed your advice about how to get rid of the scratches, and just like that, THEY’RE GONE! Thanks for that great bit of advice!
  • You’re a life saver!! First the flapper chain broke then the toilet clogged. Been waiting for maintenance over a week so I decided to at least unclog it myself. I definitely wouldn’t have gotten it unclogged in 13 minutes if not for this video. Thanks man!!! Now I’m gonna check and see if you got a bid for changing the flapper chain
  • Thank you!because of this exact video I bough a 3 ft snake from WalMart and unclogged my toilet myself. Thank you so very much for saving me money. Means so much.
