I love his reaction to the propeller. “Oh yeah, you’ll do just fine.”

imagine showing this to someone born before the 1900s, they’d think it’s real
  • It's so funny how everyone made Kratos jokes the first time Kong used a blade on a chain, and then as the monsterverse went on he just got more and more kratos-ier. now he's got the beard, the axe, the badassery and his own mini kong to call "BOY!"

0:51 That shot of Mason watching the fight unfold while the sparks fall around them is so damn amazing. The cinematography really makes you understand how small she is next to this battle of titans.

The reason why Kong does his best in saving other species is because of his parents. He got trauma when he was young when he witnessed his parents get killed by Skullcrawlers. Now he instinctively saves others.

I’m proud of Kong, he really went from fighting skull crawlers to throwing hands with the G man and Mechagodzilla
  • 5:14 Many people didn't realize what happened here, so allow me explain. Kong, unable to open his hand because Weaver was in there, moved his arm in a circular motion in order to wrap the Skullcrawler's tongue around it. He then yanked it out, which also pulled out its internal organs. I love this movie.

Woah. The CGI is insane. You can actually see that Kong has fingerprint patterns on his hand
  • Kong is like the batman of the monsterverse. His parents died in front of his face. He decided to protect people and the island. He's badass.

3:09 Skullcrawler: Might as well ignore the people firing at me and chase the one handsome defenseless guy running
  • Does anybody notice that when Kong is tied up in chains that instead of panicking he just gets even more angry and does what he needs to do? It’s honestly so inspirational.

I love the way Kong utilizes tools and weapons, such as turning the tree into a club and using the propeller like a flail and boxing glove. Throughout both KSI and GvK, they really show the level of intelligence Kong has though his expressions and his use of tools. Goes to show you there is more to intelligence than talking.

Fun Fact: In this movie Kong isn’t even a teen yet.
  • People watching this in 2024 👇 OMG THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH IVE NEVER HAD THIS MANY LIKE BEFORE
  • @charlieel36
This is one of the most ridiculously underrated movie franchises. I don’t remember one scene from these movies I didn’t like
  • @bruh_8236
And in 2020 he'll accidentally kill a skull crawler this size by stepping on him when going for a morning walk and not noticing

One of the things I really appreciate about the movie is that it's not just another King Kong remake. It's trying to be its own thing while still retaining aspects of what made Kong...well, Kong. And I love that they made the climax the T-Rex fight, except with a different kind of lizard-like creature rather than an actual T-Rex.

I can never get over how realistic this movie looks! Not even the MonsterVerse sequels look as good as this.
