    I dont normally like fantasy fiction but I must say I enjoyed audio book. I missed the authors name however.

    As an 80+ year old American who has closely followed US politics for many decades, allow me to offer a few comments for listeners from outside the US. The Telegraph's US reporter is imperfectly informed, although her reporting is far more accurate than not. The violence in the US is almost exclusively from the right; MAGA, GOP, christian nationalists, militias, etc., and from those who have no political leanings. Trumps wish for "unity" has nothing to do with becoming less negative toward the left. It is a wish to unify all the right factions together. If Trump becomes US President, there is a small chance that he will allow continued military support to Ukraine. That is because Trump has no moral or philosophical foundation. He is likely to go with the last argument that was whispered into his ear. Especially if the whisperer was someone who would look good on television.
