Phil’s voice is in drop A
-
When Phil left the house at 14 to pursue his music career he told his Dad, “You’re the man of the House now”.
-
Phil talking about ol' Dimebag like a pastor preaching the gospel.
-
Think of how deep his voice is. Now think of the outro to cemetery gates.
-
Phill can replace any bassist just by singing their lines
-
His voice is lower than my self esteem.
-
I saw Pantera once. I caught one of the beers that Dime threw into the crowd. Heineken. It was cold, too.
-
Dudes singing voice has always been top tier but he should really dip into the audio book market 😭🤣🤣
-
I just grew 5 chest hairs listening to his voice
-
When Phil says you’re a bad influence, you’re definitely something special
-
PanterA is the coolest metal band in human history. Absolutely crazy, passionate and technically perfect band of geniuses.
-
I got to shake hands with Phil at a super joint gig... one of the most powerful moments of my life. That man looked me dead in the eyes and I felt his energy. One of the absolute best front men of all time
-
He could play bass with his voice
-
That mark on Phil's forehead is where the Predator tried to take him as a trophy. It couldn't.
-
I like to think this was his response to the question: “How are you doing today Phil?”
-
He loves and misses Dime. We all make mistakes and he is no exception. He did not kill anyone , so anyone blaming him can just push off. Hes in allot of pain I believe inside from all that happened and really loves and misses Dime as much as we all do... no doubt. RIP DIME

Fact: girls talk in a high pitch voice if they like you Girls while talking to me: this video
-
Imagine picking up your girlfriend at her house with a father like him
-
Still true to this day. Everyone now can get his guitar, his tone, even better tones, copy his licks with great clean playing and timing....and they still can't sound just like him. Dime is the perfect example of "tone is in the fingers"

can we stop talking about how low phil's voice is and appreciate how he told about dimebag perfectly? who can summarize dimebag better than phil? no one. he felt this guy, and telling us how important he was, both musically and personally. this is just plain awesome
