Alright, here's the thing: I tried very hard to not do my usual Matty rant on this video, because I really want you guys to not fall for this crap. I have fallen on the sword testing every single pressure washer out there, so take it from me, this hunk of crap is not worth your hard-earned money. Don't fall for the marketing that these guys deploy to sell you a shiny, cool-looking machine which cannot even keep up with a sub $100 pressure washer from Home Depot.

To actually buy a good pressure washer, hit up the pressure washer section of the store. Plenty of good options in any price bracket. Everything on my site is something that is actually worth your money.

There's really nothing I enjoy more than watching Matt get ticked off and speaking his mind on a product(s) he hates 😂
  • Hey Matt, thank you. Keep being yourself. You may not be able to drive a car efficiently, but your integrity and honesty is off the charts great. Keep telling it like it is. You help me/us significantly. Thank you!

On your recommendation, I bought a Karcher K1700 in May of 2019 and it’s still going strong after 4 years of weekly washes for 2 cars. I’ve since bought 3 more and stashed them at my Mom’s house, my GF’s parents’ house and my Aunt’s house so I always have one available to clean their cars when I visit. At $120 a pop, they’re such an excellent value. I’ve got your advanced upgrade kit and the upgraded gun/wand/hose/nozzles make it an absolute joy to use. Appreciate all your hard work in vetting these products for us. We’re lucky to have you, Matt!

The best thing I can say about Matt's channel is that he manages to combine excellent content and quality advice while also being great entertainment

Hey Matt I’ve been as you know watching you for the past six years and as you know people who can appreciate quality will buy from you… people who do not appreciate quality and pretty much just want junk in their life will always buy junk..

The intro killed me😂 Keep this format here and after.
  • This introduction was almost as good as the corvette introduction 😂. I really like the editing

The moment you said 10K camera, 5K table, MacBook Pro to read a spreadsheet, then I understood where you are coming from. This video threw a wrench in my plans for choice of pressure washers initially as I am doing my garage makeover currently but I ultimately still went with this product. My analysis was that your use case and my use case are completely different. You don't even trust the Kranzle enough to not fail that you use 2 Kranzle inline (It makes zero sense to me) but I'm sure it is fantastic for your use case. For the 4 months of good weather we get here in Alberta Canada, the simplicity of the giraffe compared to the jerryrigging and all the individual pieces you have to purchase to use active 2 in the same fashion setup makes the giraffe a better value for me least in Canada. The active will costing additional 300 bucks at least by the time you are done with all the additional accessories. The giraffe is a very simple setup for the average home owner and I can easily pick it up on Amazon. For a professional detailer, then it might not be good . I just installed mine today. 30 days to see how I like it if not , I can return it at no cost and it.
  • Making videos on poor quality products like this is very helpful and Matt should think about doing more to shine a bright spotlight on scam products/operations like these guys.

Giraffe Tools definitely held an emergency teams meeting after catching news of this video and punched air after.
  • had a client recommend this to me , read the reviews on amazon and immediately killed that idea. This video just solidified what I already thought may be the case. Thank you for your curt honesty.

"That is a key feature, because you're definitely going to replace it" Mike's great man

I have the Grandfalls Pro. To me it works great and has plenty of pressure for car detailing. Personally I don't want paint-stripping levels of spray pressure for car washing, I have another portable pressure washer that I can use for that if needed. Could it use a bit higher GPM?...yes, but it is sufficient overall. Would be nice if it were more like 2 or 2.3 GPM, but again it's OK. It seems to be made well-enough and I have had no issues with it, but time will tell long-term. Part of the equation in buying it is I could buy 4-6 of these units for the price of a pro-level wall mount setup, and the usage rate of a home-user a couple times per month vs a professional detailer comes into the equation as well with regard to expected longevity. If I were doing this professionally I would definitely not select this unit. Also worth noting as I investigated these the Pro model is a big improvement over the earlier/lower models b/c of the improved motor. Good luck! YMMV.

Hilariousness aside, you really should do more of these. This will help MANY people and prevent them from wasting hard earned money. JMO for what it’s worth.
  • @shadspov
somebody made matt hate a pressure washer more than the Adams Pro pressure washer haha
  • @JetDriver77
Thanks for reviewing these. I was intrigued by the convenient design of the Giraffe unit and was actually going to pull the trigger on one of these before I saw this vid.
  • You wised me up on pressure washers. I have the Kranzle 1322 for around the house and the Active 2.0 for a traveling pressure washer. I won't lie about if I lived by OG I would probably be spending 50 to 100 a week there on average.
  • @STATUSDETAIL
A customer asked me about this recently. Glad i can show them this now and say dont do it lol.
  • Matt I appreciate your knowledge and the time you take to educate people who are doing their DD in quality products. I have a few projects around the house that I need to finish first, then pressure washer upgrade. I have your website on the ready with my cart full. Hopefully by the end of August.

Hi, thank you for the honest review. I'm starting my business, and like many, I've been inundated with ads, but I decided to look for a bit more information... You've gained another follower, good job, guy.
