The world is a better place each time someone disconnects from their busy, bossy mind and taps into their heart and core to ignite a deeper connection to self. There is an epidemic of low self-worth on this planet that will only be remedied with one person at a time committing to expressing unwavering gratitude, compassion and reverence within. Through the heart-core connection to self-love, we can elevate our own consciousness, deepen our connections with others and contribute to the collective respect, love and peace on earth. Jen Oliver is the Author of the International best selling book, The Love FitMama Way and creator of the FitMama Podcast, the Work IN to your workout. Through safe core fitness, self-care and mindfulness she supports moms to embrace, nurture and enjoy their motherhood journey. What she is most passionate about is spreading the message that if you love the body and life you have, you will have the body and life you love. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Isn’t it kind of self love, that we searched for this. We know we deserve more from ourselves.

If you searched for this or clicked on it, you already love yourself to the core. You're just not aware but now you are. You are loved

The irony of actually searching on how to love yourself.
Its ok people. We all are in your shoes.

I don't feel sad that I searched for this video, as everyone in the comments keep saying. All my life I didn't even know I was allowed to love myself. I was always comparing myself with others, always depending on other people's opinion. It is positive to search for these things, means that you WANT to change, you SEE you don't love yourself. So keep on searching :)

proud of everyone that took the decision to search this topic for themselves. that's self love right there.
  • 1. Focusing on the Positive (positive thoughts)
    2. Being Grateful (appreciating everything that you have, not what you lack)
    3. Let Go of things that do not serve you
    4. Love yourself more
  • I can't lie, I searched for this. I need self love. I need self worth inside myself . I'm working on myself 🙌🏾🥺
  • "If you love the life and body you have, you will have the life and body you love."

This is just so beautiful ♥
  • Searching for a video like this hurts. I don’t like how others made us feel so low and so unworthy. Crying while tying this. I hope we can all heal and love ourselves.

It makes me happy that I’m not the only one who searched “How to love yourself”

I don’t even know what love feels like anymore.. I feel like I’m stuck in a hole of self-hate and depression.. Her words brought me to tears.. it sounds like great ideas but I still don’t know how to make myself feel better.. thank you though!
  • This helped me feel better. It is hard to love yourself when you consider yourself unattractive, untalented, unintelligent and when it seems that nobody likes you and nothing you ever try works. I needed this.

I met someone that made me realize that I need self love. It would have been nice to realize it in a different way, but I can't even get mad at her cause now I know what I really need. I'm actually really grateful to her. I accept my reality with her now and I have forgiven myself for everything.

I know this is a long process but I know it's going to make me a better person.
  • One thing I learned from reading the comments: in the most honest moments with yourself, when you know you need to love yourself but don’t exactly know how or where to start...you may feel alone but you are not. 💜
