The second I saw a darkness over Tail's eyes I thought we were getting evil Tails all over again... instead, we get more brutal murder. Neat.

I love how Mashed is just like "we're gonna make our own Sonic Prime, with murder and tragic backstories!"

It's insane how this episode dropped two bombshells: 1) Medieval tails resented Sonic more than Knuckles, never getting credit for his genius in the face of Sonic's heroics. He hid the truth to keep Sonic suffering, but at the same time, he was frustrated that he couldn't prove his genius by curing him. His unwillingness to save Sonic was the start of him becoming evil - but his death cut that short. 2) The original twisted Tails is creating his own warped group of "allies" by corrupting them into their raw desires. Tails - Idolatry to the point of Madness Amy - Love twisted into Obsession Knuckles - Mindless Wrath I shudder to think of what he will do to other versions of Cream, Blaze, Silver, Big, and Shadow

The truly horrific part is that we've saw this world grow, develop, it's characters struggle against a seemingly never-ending battle. And once it's finally all over, once all is thought to be good again, it's completely destroyed in a matter of minutes.

Knuckles didn't die a hero, he instead lived long enough to see himself become a villain.

Man, Mashed really pulled out a "And then everyone dies. The End" on this one.

Famous lines...so far: Tails: "What are friends for..." Amy: "It hurts so much..." Knuckles: "CRUSH...KILL...DESTROY!"

So I get the feeling this universe's Tails was kinda evil too, in a mad scientist kind of way. But...Well, obviously he wasn't "Crazy Tails."

I love to think that every Tails in every universe has some sort of craziness or obsession toward Sonic. Since I also think that SH Tails was the very first Tails introduced by Sega. So, all the parallel universes' Tails shares, even a little, the SH Tails' personality.

The fact that alt Amy could easily subdue the Kaiju and then made him smaller could mean that maybe SHT Tails could be actually able to cure the monsterfication... Its always amazing when the villains is like "yeah, I could fix it all in no time, but the thing is... I dont want to"

The worst part is that Knuckles is still somewhat conscious in his beast form

That Crazy amy voice actress is absolutely amazing! Everything from the line delivery to how she can change her voice in seconds.

5:03 "oh boy is he gonna love this... " This means he is still out there

Sonic's death here hit me more than it should have. He's basically blind, missing an arm, and is slowly dying on the inside, but he still has enough empathy for Knuckles after he "died" because he didn't want his frienr to suffer rhe same fate too.

I think what's worse about Knuckles' corruption is that he truly did care about everyone before he was corrupted by the emerald, slaughtered those he was sworn to defend, and was slowly losing his mental state due to Amy's manipulation. Even Knuckles admitted to himself he respected Sonic and wished he could've had Sonic by his side. Honestly, I think Mashed just did an amazing job writing these characters, you feel like everyone was on their breaking point in their own way and Knuckles was fighting a war from within and against a monster threatening his friends.
