    I completely agree. I have grieved over what I thought our country was vs what it proved to actually be. It's heartbreaking. But, I also have a sliver of hope that one day we will find our way to upholding the ideas we were founded on. We've always fallen short in some form or fashion, but that shouldn't stop us from continuing to try.
