  • It's been a long time since I sat down and listened to this. Still bangin at 63. Party on ya'll
  • I swear to dog, this sounds ten times better now that i am 46. When i was a teenager back in the 90s it blew me away, but back then we all had shitty cassette players. Listening to it with proper monitors is another new experience! My favorite Slayer album. Their absolute zenith.
  • Slayer with Jeff and Dave is one of the greatest bands ever assembled

32 years alive, 32 years slayer plus nine months in the womb. My dad raised me on Slayer. I have seen them twice. I LOVE SLAAAYYYYEEERRRRRRRR!!!!
  • Supposed die-hard Slayer fans often say this cant be the best Slayer album, it's too slick, too clean, too commercial....but you tell me: what in the world is even remotely commercial about thrash metal songs about necrophiles, Nazis, Satan, and gang warfare? We must live in different worlds, coz Taylor Swift this ain't. And i for one think it pound for pound the greatest metal album ever made.

Metaphorically speaking, their music painted a future of what we are currently living and battling with

I am one of the few who would put this masterpiece above Reign in Blood.
  • When i was a boy, hear this album night and day. 31:22 and Lombardo is the king of drums
  • I'm nearly 60 and still rock out to slayer another quality album 🤘
  • Just another masterpiece by these legends. They lost a bit of steam on their next album but from Show No Mercy to this record it was a list of genius thrash.
  • Seasons is the song that moved me from classic rock to metal. I've never looked back
  • The laid back ,calm and serene Slayer was the most lethal also...too good🔥🔥🔥 R I P JEFF GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN 👑👑

I bought this album on a church trip back in like 2005. True story.
  • More than 20 years ago, we were 4 mates wandering around in an old car smoking weed and drinking poor quality whisky from a single bottle. The driver was a weirdo, a self taught guitar player with good skills, he had no driving license 😅😅 at some point he put a cassette tape in the car stereo. It was this album, the song was Skeletons of society. Despite not being a proper metalhead, it's been an instant crush for me. I still consider this album the quintessential Slayer sound. Stay strong fellas❤
  • Probably their most balanced release. It hits hard like Reign in Blood, while solidifying Slayer's melodic tendencies from South of Heaven. Fantastic album. My favorite of 1990, next to Nowhere by Ride.

"Tko slusa Slayer vrijedi, tko vrijedi, sluša Slayer, tko ne sluša Slayer, ne vrijedi." Grunf
  • 51 and still doing heavy 'air guitar' with the entire album. Keep it up, fellow rockers! Up yours children!! 😈😈😈
