Darrell was the best guitar player of all time period !! I am 65 yrs old and I can't help respect the way he played. He was without doubt the best and most creative that I have ever heard. God bless him and his brother ! Together they were an amazing combo!

somethin like 35 years ago i was living in arlington, tx same time dimbag was. moved up to oregon a short time later and got to see pantera in '97 and ended up getting to have a conversation with dimebag after the concert while looking for my jacket up by the stage. he had the biggest presence of anyone i have ever met. but he gave off a big teddy bear vibe. coolest night ever.
