Still fucking rocks 50 YEARS LATER!!

Rest in peace Alan, a true legend, originator and inspiration 💔
  • Oh my god, that was 50 years ago, now I'm 76 and I'm still into the status quo and play their tracks even when our old-man band has a gig.

I used to love all that Quo stuff back in the 70's...(still do).....in my Seventies now and still have the hair to do a bit of head bangin'.. when I listen to the lads...I looked a lot like Rossi back then...love the Quo!...

This is music from the dirty sweaty clubs. No rehearsal no bullshit just hardcore rockin 🤟

Bob Young on harmonica. ‘Bob Young is Status Quo's unofficial fifth member, their roadie, tour manager and harmonica player as well as co-writer on many of the band's biggest hits with Francis Rossi. Bob is steeped in Quo history, having been a key cog in the mechanics of the group from 1968 until 1981.’ PRS For Music

It's sobering to think that of the five in the band here two have now passed on. To that great rock gig in the sky.

There is nothing else like good clean R&B. no auto tuners no glitzy light show

Great cover from the Quo. Alan was a very talented and creative bass player, and also a great singer.

Nice to see them in colour. Kudos to the director using multiple cameras. rare for the time.

This takes it to the level of meditation! Excellent - and Jim Morrison was still alive at this point.
  • My first live concert ever was Status Quo. I think it was 1977 in Cologne/Germany and it's still one of the best experiences. This song is one of my favourite ones.

I saw the Quo alive in Sydney Australia 2003 ... with Ben Collins who owned Bondi Rock shop and Rob Taylor the lead guitarist of Dragon .... they blown my mind , they had the Chuck Berry sound I bloody loved it !
  • Best version of the Doors original. All the elements of the classic Quo are present here.Brilliant band.R.I.P Rick and Alan.
