  • Oh my god, that was 50 years ago, now I'm 76 and I'm still into the status quo and play their tracks even when our old-man band has a gig.
  • Sounds like a mad jam session.all instruments competing with each other.Terrific stuff.

Great cover from the Quo. Alan was a very talented and creative bass player, and also a great singer.

This is music from the dirty sweaty clubs. No rehearsal no bullshit just hardcore rockin 🤟
  • @gnerco
I think Alan's vocals front some of the best Quo tracks - passion for the job in hand.......especially the earlier stuff.

Nice to see them in colour. Kudos to the director using multiple cameras. rare for the time.
  • My first live concert ever was Status Quo. I think it was 1977 in Cologne/Germany and it's still one of the best experiences. This song is one of my favourite ones.

I used to love all that Quo stuff back in the 70's...(still do).....in my Seventies now and still have the hair to do a bit of head bangin'.. when I listen to the lads...I looked a lot like Rossi back then...love the Quo!...
  • @archieflatface
Saw them at the Mile End Odeon in East London in early 70's - been deaf ever since!

Love the 70's Quo getting the Legendary Quo sound on Ma Kelly's Greasy spoon album from 1970
  • @Nooziterp1
It's sobering to think that of the five in the band here two have now passed on. To that great rock gig in the sky.

Bob Young on harmonica. ‘Bob Young is Status Quo's unofficial fifth member, their roadie, tour manager and harmonica player as well as co-writer on many of the band's biggest hits with Francis Rossi. Bob is steeped in Quo history, having been a key cog in the mechanics of the group from 1968 until 1981.’ PRS For Music
