I love shrimp but the Porchetta is already costing me a boatload. If I had some in the freezer though, that sounds great. :D

I don't know too much about your diet, but for an app you should think about garlic rubbed rosemary shrimp. Very simple to make and quite healthy. Fine dice some garlic and let it sit in a suitable amount of olive oil over night. Peel the shrimp except for the tails, then coat the shrimp with the garlic olive oil and then lay full rosemary spriggs across the shrimp bake at 300 for around 20 mins. Delicious finger food.

It'd be nice to have some sort of conclusion. There's a reason that "YASD" is a common acronym in roguelikes. :) Random tangent: I've seen you have trouble with escorts running off while you're still weak from a previous battle. When they're moving to their portal, escorts have very rigid pathfinding. If you can figure out where they want to move next and stand there, even in the middle of an open field, they'll stand behind you and wait. Very handy, because you can rest to full.

Yeah, I haven't uploaded it and I don't know if I will. It was a disastrous end and I kind of lost my shit at the end of the video and dropped some mad cusses.

That was my choice for my current necromancer. They get good stats, the first talent is a life saver in the early game, and only a +15% xp penalty. Though I was still level 18 before Daikara after clearing all other optional dungeons that I could manage (I lost a life in the Ruined dungeon with an instagib from an archlich so I decided to pass that one)...

I think the HP would be more of a problem, but there have been Yeek necro winners....

some people like them, I find pets in roguelikes to be tedious to manage. I comment out pets in Nethack for example.

By the way, ABSOLUTELY wait until Lichform is maxed to turn into a lich (level 25). I just found the hard way that the lichform bonus only applies ONCE so you'd be screwed with -3 to all stats and -10 to all stats for the whole fucking game if you change into a lich when the skill is at level 1.

Uh, was there supposed to be a Part 3 of the first run? Everything looked fine when part 2 ended.

If the experience penalty is such a problem, maybe you should try a Yeek Necromancer?

How do you like the new dark empathy skill? Now minions can't hurt the caster when that skill is maxed!

I'll chime in my agreement for the XP penalty being a problem. Shaloren seems like a good magic-user race at first glance, but they don't really get much out of it. It's a decent boost to your starting stats, but the talent tree's less interesting than your other generics, and the XP loss is really painful. If you can survive to L10 or so, which isn't that hard, you'll get a lot more mileage out of a plain Cornak. Seems like the Shaloren race needs balance work.
