Maybe. I might do either next, I haven't really made a serious attempt at Alchemist since like 34 and I've never made a serious attempt at archmage, so it couldn't hurt to do either and record my hilarious failure. I'm pretty bad at casters overall, so it'd be a learning experience for both of us.

really enjoying your videos, watched every Tales of Maj'Eyal let's play :) Is there a reason to have disable "rest before auto-explore" ?

In my experience, casters are a lot less forgiving than melee characters. Zoning out is dangerous with any character, of course, but with a melee character you have a few hundred more health and lots of armor and physical resistance. If you take an extra turn or two to "wake up", you'll probably still survive. Casters just don't have the durability for that. There are periods of ease, but you really have to be in top form most of the time. Your damage output is insane, but in a melee...

Yeah, but I haven't invested enough in any of my trees to do it. There's few trees where it's worthwhile - if you are playing a diseases reaver, that tree is probably worth the investment of an extra cat point. Also if you deeply invest in the corr. str tree, which I might later but am not going to right now. Lastly, if you are playing AM, it's always worth it for Fungus, but reavers can't go AM because they're arcanists. I will probably do a wyrmic or cursed eventually and touch on that.

I know this is an old video, but that door is a puzzle... just try to activate the orbs after youve killed all the rares

You know you can spend the category point into a category you already have unlocked to improve it a bit, right?
-
Didn't you spend a cat point on Lichform form for level 6 on the Necromancer character?
-
No, you get 6 points from 5/5 in the talent because the mastery is 1.3.
-
will you make a lets play with a rogue character???
-
I find it incredibly annoying. If you don't, feel free to enable it. ;)
