This case is infuriating. The fact that women can't go for a walk (in broad daylight) without the fear of being attacked is insane. Janelle was so young and had her whole life ahead of her and it's taken from her.

This was personal. Look at how many times she was stabbed. It was definitely someone who knew her and who was extremely angry at her…

He probably had an affair with Janelle. Alicia found out, taunted him to the point of actually murdering her to prove that she meant nothing, and then they split up due to the rumors and risks of getting caught. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think they should investigate his ex-wife Alicia. I think both were involved like she did it & he helped get rid of the body. Hopefully they will investigate her because something doesn’t add up! Prayers for her family & that they get total justice for Janelle.

Hearing about all her injuries was so disturbing.. I can’t imagine the pain she went through and I can’t believe there are people who are capable of such things

This is one of the first times I’ve heard a case where the person killed isn’t a perfect ray of sunshine. She sounds like she wasn’t the best person but still did not deserve what happened to her. It’s disgusting.

what makes this case especially sad to me is that janelle would have never in a million years have seen it coming :( with the island being so safe and open im sure it had barely ever crossed her mind that something so sad could happen to her

Janelle sounds like such a firecracker. That diary entry of "fuckwit" is hilarious, she seems like she would've been one of those 'love her or hate her, you gotta admire the energy' kinda people. Also the police publishing her diary IS tea, just dumping all this goss on the islanders and being like "yeah so have fun with that!" I feel like Janelle would've been horrified by her innermost thoughts being exposed like that, but maybe also tickled by the drama it probably caused. Such a terrible tragedy that her bright light was snuffed out in such a violent way. RIP Janelle.
