Great video! All things I wish I knew before working as a creative in general. I’m not in 3d animation but all these sentiments seem to be widespread across creative fields. It can be painful to learn and see how little respect our professions get. I don’t fault anyone for leaving after seeing the realities of toxic companies and how much craft is overlooked for profits at the expense of people. Also working in the industry of something you enjoy, in a way makes me enjoy it less. Since consuming it reminds me of work.

Great talk, the entire video is packed with great information and very little fluff! As a High school graduate looking into careers I would want to pursue, I found this video to contain some very interesting points. I think it was an apt summary at the end for our speaker to warn against a "naive" mindset going into this industry.

This is really insightful! Thanks so much for the time you've spent making this video

Great vid! Yea it’s tough out there, especially now it seems. Lots of industry vets are having to take on low paying entry jobs so there is little to no openings for new people 🥲 The industry has its ebbs and flows

I got one of those wage-fixing settlement checks! A nice surprise ten years later.

My questions is do you enjoy your work? Or do you still enjoy your work?
  • hi I have a business idea that we are trying to put in an animation format for prospecting. See attached and lets schedule a time to discuss this further.
