Metal detecting on the river and finding some great Civil War relics made it a day to remember. I even found a pusher plate!

As always this is a how to metal detecting outdoor adventure vlog that is family friendly and hopefully a fun video.

About Aquachigger:
I like to make videos that promote my lifestyle of outdoor adventure, metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed. I keep my YouTube "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.

I hope to see you guys out there!

I’ve been watching you since I was a kid probably an entire decade ago. You never slow down! Keep up the awesomeness
  • Holy Mackerel, the bayonet is awesome. Finding relics like that is why you’re the best.

It's unbelievable what can still be found in rivers. 😮The bayonet is really well preserved. Good luck for the future.❇

Man you had a great day on the river! That bayonet is in fantastic condition. Cool carved bullet as well! Congrats on all the relics.

I really appreciate the way you collect and show all the random junk along with the relics and coins! I always go over all the "stuff" again after a detecting trip. I especially enjoy the Civil War relics - which I will never see on the left coast. The design of the bayonet kind of reminds me of the one I have for my 1886 8mm Lebel, and even more the one for my son's Mosin-Nagant.

That brassy cup shaped thing looks like it could have been a grease cup too an old motor boat engine, and other kinds of engines as well. You would pack it with grease and it would melt and lubricate old motors. Late 1800's early 1900's. They were used on early automobiles as well.
