Finally! A new mini home tour with English Country Furniture Finds

2024-07-21に共有
Somehow I was able to find several key pieces of English Country furniture for our old New England home, that I've been searching for! After three yeas, within a few days of each other I was able to add a bit of cozy charm into our home. In this mini home tour and vlog, I will be sharing what they are and how I used them in our home.

  • This is what I do. Move things from one room to another. Whole new look at a budget friendly style I like. Spending Sunday mourning with you was inspiring. That Willow is so precious.

Your new island is so enviable. Who couldn't use two new big drawers in their kitchen for storage? What a find!
  • love all the pieces you brought in! the kitchen piece would be beautiful in the Briarwood color with black knobs maybe to bring in some black? You have such great tastes and always make everything beautiful and functional which is what a home should be. Thanks for the video!
  • Hi Linda, I just finished enjoying a Roast Lamb dinner with my family with a glass of white wine, I cleared the dining table ready to stack my dishwasher when I decided to rest for 10 minutes to finish my wine and look at your video, I always look forward to Sunday night for your video, I really enjoyed this one and loved your new/old furniture pieces I especially enjoy when you generously show us your home and garden I've been with you right through your Reno's and it's so interesting and inspiring watching what you have done in your home, you have a very special talent for home decorating you always seem to group the right items and never cluttered , so I'd better get to those dishes now but firstly thank you again and again for your videos. PS. Love to your dear Willow .
  • Good morning , Linda. Wonderful way to start my day and week with you. Thank you. You were right, that new/old baker's table is perfect in the kitchen. Love the idea of the small frame and using the same color as the butler's pantry. So inspiring to hear your train of thought. I have learned so much from you. Enjoy your week and hope you get more rain.

Your garden is simply lovely, as is your home! Thanks for sharing it all so very graciously with us.....

Such a lovely video. Everything looks so wonderful! Love the credenza in the dining room. ❤
  • Love the baker’s table. Lovely and useful! You have such vision, looking forward to the new look!
  • We are moving sections of our house so a $200 stain we put down in 2008 when we were surviving infertility debt and our 12 year old dog got sick. We lost our cat last December so we decided to try chemicals to get the stain up. Nope. So we are paying thousands to grind up the concrete, level the slab and remove the stain! All the furniture is in a different place and I am weeding out things. Donating never felt so good. P I pray for you, Ben, and Willow. When our cat died, we found we had feral cats, so we fed them, and we don’t feed at night but the raccoon and opossum and box turtle come by at night (no rodents, thank God)! I love your colonial style. I don’t have primitive style family furniture. I have 5 generations of family furniture. Thank you for so many ideas that are helping with our renovations. We had a toilet reinstalled and 8 windows replaced yesterday.
  • The island would look great in the room stripped back to the natural wood but then you mentioned painting it black which would look fantastic also. I enjoyed the little snippet of the rain, I often sit on my front porch and video the rain fall on my flowers and beautiful large red maple, it’s so relaxing.
  • I LOVE your new furniture choices. The piece in the dining room looks perfect (fills the wall perfectly). Bachelor’s chest looks perfect in the tavern. You know a fireplace with mantel would be PERFECTION on that empty wall in the tavern. Come on, Linda, you can talk/reason Ben into it. Every tavern needs a fireplace to stare at, while you sipping your brandy, don’t you think? lol ❤
  • Love all the new pieces Linda. You really hsve an eye for beautiful home treasures. ❤
  • @patralink
I really like the baker's table. My choice for the refinish is to go with the Briarwood color. Laundry and liquor; what a good combination Linda! Those grey chairs in the tavern room are gorgeous. Willow is up and looking well, sweet girl. Thank you for the home tour. Your home is so inviting.
  • Linda, I love your new kitchen piece. Absolutely adorable and so versatile. Love the drawers and the lift up leaves. Looks fabulous. Love your other pieces too and the way you moved things around. You are the best!!!!❤
  • Good morning, Linda! I love the pieces your purchased. The sideboard looks so beautiful in the dining room. Love the piece for the kitchen, I think painting it either the back or briarwood color would really make it pop. Nice to see Willow looking a bit more like herself. Maybe you could move the snowball bushes to way out in your backyard, so they could get as big as they wanted, and enjoy the white snowballs out there. Have a great week! ❤
  • Thank you for the lovey tour. I love all of your changes. Your home is so beautiful. Praying for lil Willow to be fine. Hope her doctors visit will reveal answers to her health issues. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
  • Listening to you is like a rerun from my mind. You're doing great work. Enjoy your accomplishments
  • Thank you for sharing your week. Truly enjoy your videos! Praying Willow is okay, and that you can get to the bottom of this. Our fur babies are such a big part of our families.
