Super Soup: Great for Immune system, Blood Pressure and Diabetes

This Soup is great for providing vitamins, minerals, protein and fiber. Because of the the type of spices used(tumeric, a little bit of nutmeg, garlic, onion and parsley) it is wonderful for boosting the immune system. The potatoes, parsley, spinach, cabbage and pepper also help with High Blood Pressure and Type 2 Diabetes.

    Washing your meat is not snobby. It means that you are a clean person. I thoroughly was EVERYTHING that my family and I consume. This is why you can't eat everyone's food!!
  • I wash everything, even lettuce, cabbage etc...anything that insect larvae could be on. Just good kitchen common sense and some people don't have that.

    Thumbs up to washing all food...even cans since the lid usually falls into the can when opening. I wish everyone did this. It makes it hard to eat anyplace but home to think about it, lol!

  • Great soup recipe! Have you ever considered sautéing the potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic with some olive oil for a few minutes before adding to the broth? It adds a great flavor to the soup as well as some"good fats" from the olive oil.

  • Hi just picked up on your videos this morning because of the high blood pressure thing. Gotta say I love the videos this looks just like what I grew up on but got away from it when I grew up. It's not because I don't love it maybe it just takes more time to prepare.Well looks like I need to slow down and go back to the way mom use to cook and this is a great start.
