  • Well I am Singaporean..and most older Singaporean with some wisdom...will tell you otherwise. ..we see America as the trouble maker😅😊
  • I am from MELAKA, Malaysia. Since 15th century China already trade With Melaka. They never conquered us, only trade. BUT the west Portuguese, English and Dutch came with cannons to conquer us and said we belong to them. They each stayed for years.
  • Indonesians here, the majority of Indonesians are of the view that any country that becomes a superpower country for Indonesian has no problem, as long as the country is fair and does not create chaos, unfortunately the USA does the opposite.
  • @PrimeroCanale
All of the problems expressed by Orville, will go away when the US stays out of it.
  • @poohbaby233
I am from Taiwan. My view is can US stop interfering TW and China. Leave us alone!
  • @lvjinbin28
Americans talk about issues in China or around China, do you see Chinese talk about Black Lives Matter, Cuba, Mexico?
  • As a Singaporean, I am very comfortable to trade with China. Orville, don't put your words in my mouth, and please stay away from destabilizing our regional peace. I want peace and prosperity, that is what China brings to our table.
  • @ktleung2419
Orville' couldn't let go of the American exceptionalism. He was naïve on world politics thinking that America means the world. Good on Kishore giving him a lecture.
  • @eng80425
I live in SEA and I actually am rooting for China to win and be equal to USA. USA should not be the making the decision for the world and for us any more. If required, USA should be allowed to fade... I am actually not comfortable with USA... In fact I had never comprehend why gun control is so difficult when tiktok ban can move so fast.....Strict gun control saves lives..their priorities baffles me and I cannot trust a superpower who cannot seems to figure out what is important

Why doesn't Shnell talk about Okinawa, Chagos, Gracia Diego, Hawaii? Why the US comes all the way to South East Asia to tell Asean what they should or should not do? China is the largest exporter to the world. So isn't it China's interest to safeguard the waters in the South China Sea. Why has the Us poking its nose into the affairs of countries in the Far East?
  • @atky7032
Thanks for inviting Orville to debate with Kishore. Orville's naive viewpoints have enabled Kishore to bring out the best of his wisdom when responding to ignorance. Answering questions calm and composed.  The best part: 'When 1.4 billion Chinese people decide to become prosperous, nothing can stop them.'

I am a proud S’porean. Great respect to Mr. Kishore. Next time pls invite someone who is competent or on par with Mr Kishore. Don’t waste his time. Mr. Kishore was calm and took the stage very well. Love his analogy of BOAT. Lastly, I have no problem dealing with China or any country.

Hi Mr. Orville you are very wrong about Singaporeans . Many of us Singaporeans feel that USA is a bully and love to " dip it's fingers into everyone's pie" so to speak. We want to trade and lead a peaceful life and not impose our wills on others . Please mind your business and may GOD bless you !
  • @guyzer7006
I’m amazed …who has military bases surrounding China…who is the aggressor..Orville is so out of touch..anyway Kishore has this covered!!
  • @guytruth5598
Kisore is the most sane, just, righteous without bias, partial and an intelligent brave speaker of all times.
  • @jameshack485
Orville Schell is completely condescending when he speaks of China and Asia overall. He thinks with a 20th century mindset and is ill prepared for dealing with China in the 21st century. He is a caricature of the hot-headed American who acts before he thinks. A complete neocon who is overly confident of America's capabilities because our last wars have been victories against Iraq and Afghanistan. He should review America's massive failures in Asia during the Vietnam and Korean conflicts. I'm heartened to hear diplomats like Mr. Mahbubani who are much calmer and thoughtful in their speech. China is on the rise and there's not much America or the West can do about it.
  • @bauyeung88
As a HKer, I’m very happy seeing my country China stands up to challenge the Win/Lose strategy initiated by US. Btw, I’m proud to be a Chinese.
  • One is a intellect and the other is lost in space....floats from one anti China point to the next but does not have a comprehensive logical argument... It's really not fair to put this guy in the same room with a intellect.
  • @VictorACYang
If possible,I’d like Dr. Kishore to be the Secretary General of the UN. Perfect fit!
  • @houm7571
This dude isn't even on kishore's level. He not only systematically dismantled him but also schooled him on every single issue. Hands down sir.
