Putin in China: Xi Jinping Calls for Deeper Ties with Russia Against US | Vantage with Palki Sharma

Russian President Vladimir Putin is in China for his first foreign visit after securing a fifth term. China's President Xi Jinping welcomed Putin personally, and the two leaders made some significant announcements together. On Russia's war with Ukraine, President Xi said that "a political solution to the Ukraine crisis is the right direction". This statement comes as Russia's offensive against Ukraine continues to gain momentum. While Xi called for peace in Ukraine, the US has accused China of helping Russia gain access to "dual use technology"- thus enabling its war with Kyiv. As Presidents Putin and Xi strengthen the Russia-China relationship, the West is mulling sanctions on China to block exports of dual use technologies. Can Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping's friendship sustain the test of sanctions and Western scrutiny? Palki Sharma tells you more.

I am Indonesian with pure Indian heritage. I would love to see India and China both can put aside their differences and start cooperating along with Russia to become much bigger and to challenge the US and entire West. That is my dream ! Please understand that, if you fight China, US & West will be soo happy. They do not need to fight.

Palki...you should spend more time highlighting the issues in India...bring attention to what needs to be fixed & improved, rather than criticizing China all year long !!! Unless Firstpost is funded by the West

China's ethics is firm on " We do not interfere in country's affairs" . They are doing Business just like how the U.S is using Ukraine to boost it's economy (War economy) , but China is doing Trades with Russia , not pledging Billions to aid Russia. BRICS❤

"Xi will be forced to choose between supporting Moscow and sustaining China's economy." Sorry, Palki, that's a false premise. Beijing faces many dilemmas, but that supposed dilemma of Moscow or Chinese economy isn't one of them.
  • @Shamika_Shamoo.
If India considers the Chinese economy that is almost 600% bigger than theirs as faiIing. Wouldn't that make India's economy strapped on a life support?

It's shameful for the US, Blinken didn't get the red carpet welcome on his last visiting China.

Question is India's relationship with Russia is very old but today it's not the way Russia looks at China, historically China and Russia were enemies it shows how the US and NATO have driven both closer to each other creating a bigger problem for themselves
