  • Bill Burr moderating a Presidential debate would destroy all ratings records.🤣

"I try to stay just ahead of my depression." Definitely stealing that. 🔥🔥

Interview is about him. Spends entire time talking about other great people around him. Essence of a good person.

"Is Bill ever going to admit it's not us, it's him?" Hahahahahaha
  • 2:59 "I am an inquisitive person. I try to stay above my depression. If I learn smthg new, it's exciting, challenging, embarrassing bc I'm making mistakes, but i don't have to listen to the demons. It shuts them up at night" Excellent tip for people dealing w depression 🧘‍♀

What made him famous to me was his early specials when he described going up to Harlem to visit the girl he was dating, now his wife, and the feeling of going past the 100 block and panicking..
  • I don't know why Bill Burr always comes off as such a sweet person to me, despite his occasionally pissed off demeanor, which I absolutely love. I think that speaks to the part of me that knows he's a really nice guy.
  • “Just stay ahead of the depression” is a great way to live life. I love that.
  • @FuzzySamurai
Bill Burr's character in the mandalorian was my favourite. his whole arc in season 2 and the way he acted was phenomenal.

1:45 Love how he gets through giving a really genuine answer and all of a sudden the grouchy uncle brain kicks in 😂
  • @PilsnerGrip
Nia nudging Bill to do the Mandalorian, she's a real one! Bill was amazing in it and it will forever be hilarious at the same time.
  • Loved the one where Bill Burr read out “when is bill burr” then quietly and subtly muttered “going to shut up” was pure gold!!!
  • The depression bit is deep and relatable. I really hope he never falls off the wagon again.

I love Bill Burr. He is like a physical manifestation of people's repressed thoughts. He looks like a genuine guy and he pretty much has no filter, which makes him hilarious.
  • I once saw Bill and immediately I recognized myself in him. His bald head was so shiny I saw my reflection.
  • That is an incredible way to use your depression. Most struggle to recognize, few know how to treat it correctly, and this man uses it to push him to learn new things. Not saying it can be scaled up for the masses but good for Bill for finding something that works for him.
  • @OLD.GREASE
For the record, Bill's bigger moment in that show, where he can't hold his gun in his holster, and ends an imperial officer over drinks, is actually one of my favourite moments in all Star Wars. It really hits ya straight in the heart if you know anything about empires and empathy.
