If you do spray paint before alcohol you get more round cells. If you alcohol then spray paint you get a spider web effect.
  • TIP: When try to emulate rock veins, use feathers. It lends a ton of depth, and allows you to get either the ribbon effect or the more jagged/fractured look, depending on how you use them.

I've custom painted motorcycles and many other things for over 30 years and I've used similar techniques to get all kinds of different effects with paint. I've done several that look like acid was splashed on the parts and ate through multiple layers of paint. It's awesome to work with stuff like this.

Love how you're just being yourself instead of giving the typical tutorial vibes!! Awesome work , cool ideas, and very entertaining 😂😂😂

Yes, please to both a river table and a galaxy painting! Those street artists are so amazing and with all your techniques and experimenting, I can't even imagine what you could create! The table is stunning!
  • Being the daughter of a hardware store owner, I would like to make a suggestion. Always stand up while spraying. If you are sitting, you breath in more of the fumes. Which you won't do if you are standing up. Also, if you are standing up, you can spray with your arm fully extended and, again, not breath in as much of the fumes, which you cannot do while you are sitting. Also, if you are standing, you can step away any time you want to get a breath of fresh air. Otherwise, keep up the good work.

Now that is a beautiful slab of dark marble. I think i will try this on my gardentable, thanks for the idea.
  • I do this effect with stainless tumblers for a rustic metal effect, works perfect with a vintage teal color and copper metallic spray paint. I spritz the copper then immediately hit it with 91% alcohol

You did a Corvette Summer pun, bless you sir 🙏 😁. I love that movie. Don't know the age demographic of people who watch your videos but, as soon as you said that line, I started laughing. It's truly an underrated gem of a movie.

This is incredible! I'm so glad the algorithm worked for me to see this! I love experimental works, even when they don't turn out. It's a learning experience. This gave me an idea for a small table I'm putting together. So super excited now! Thank you!
  • Your video was so refreshing to watch and made me laugh on such a dright winter's day. I agree, the hardest part is knowing when to stop and let the artwork do its own thing. That is a stunning table and whoever buys it can be proud to own such an original artwork. I have subscribed as I need to laugh more, and as a mixed media 'artist' myself, it is a joy to learn. Thank You.
