If you pull off your tape at a 90 degree angle ON THE SAME PLANE AS THE TAPE, it comes off easier and with fewer tears because the force is distributed over a greater area and the adhesive doesn't bond with the same strength at that angle. A hair dryer blowing ahead of your pull can also help.

The wood grain tool is so helpful. One tip is paint a lighter wood color, and let it dry and then go back with a darker wood color and drag the tool lightly over it.
  • My grandson spray painted my car with black spray paint, my neighbor suggested that I use WD40 to clean it off, and it worked beautifully! You just have to leave it on for about 5 minutes, & then wipe it off. I was so grateful!!

love using the blow torch over the no flame warning 🤣🤣🤣

Cling film: place a layer of plastic wrap or a cut-down plastic bag over the top of the can before you seal up the lid, this helps create a tight seal, creates a barrier against metal-to-metal corrosion, and also makes it easier to “cleanly” open the can when the time comes. If I have a paint can that’s still 3/4 full or completely full, I always store them upside down. Keeps the paint from creating that clumpy film on top. I worked for Benjamin Moore for years inside and outside sales. One of my favorite store managers was an old school woman Janette who had been in the business for 40+ years. God Bless that woman for mentoring me but Janette was known in our town that if you had a difficult paint job, or color match or maybe you royally screwed something up and your customer is furious, you would go to Janette. The wood grain hack definitely works. I saw her do this on tile before and I also saw her use two different stains before and did it on a fireplace mantle. I used to watch her in amazement.

Some good hacks( thank you)... leading to one of most hysterical videos I've seen.!! Thank you for the laughs! You are a kick!

We used to use WD40 caps and nozzle straw things to mix spray paint colours. Can of white in ice cold water and red in a bucket of hot, connect then spray to mix up a pink. Add blue for purple etc.... 💜
  • You can take a nail and make 2 holes in the rim where the top firs down into and the paint won't run down the side .. it goes back in can .. GREAT hack try it!!

Ow, ow, ow, ow 20:05 that cracked me up... One time I dropped some hot glue on the floor and used my finger to wipe it up. When it burned me, I wiped it off with my other finger and burned that one too! Note to self: Don't use your fingers to wipe off hot glue!

You are hilarious. A good laugh to start my day. And learned what to try and what NOT to. Thank you. I don’t have an airbrush but will Definitely will check out some of your other videos.

The wood comb goes back over 100's of years. It works great once you get the hang of it.
  • If you need to close up your paint and you can't get the lid clean, put press-n-seal over the top and put the lid on (works for house paint lids and plastic screw on bottles!) I work with fluid art and mediums are practically glue, so this makes things much easier for me!

While using painters tape on the top edge of a paint can; The 'V' can work with 'wide' tape, or you could lay the tape side by side to make it wider... Be sure to press the tape down on both the inner ring and the outer ring to create a seal on each... Like when you used that board for all three of your 'paint' projects. Painters tape is specifically made so you can press it down to prevent 'bleeding' under the tape, and still be able to pull it up. Personal preference as to if you pull the tape up while the paint is still wet or wait until it dries! I hope this makes sense! Thank you for making me, well, bellow with laughter at times!!!
  • Taylor these hacks were interesting. Thank you for either proving them or debunking them. Blessings 🙏🏽
  • That eyeball behind you is EPIC and what I’ve been trying to accomplish for ohhh idk 15 years!?!? SHANTASTIC!!!

Another hack for clean lines you can also paint your tape with Mod podge before painting the area and your lines will be crisp.

Try using a nail and hammering it into the indent where the lid fits into a can of paint. That will allow the paint to flow back into the can of paint after you are done pouring the paint out of the can. Try using rubbing alcohol to remove fairly fresh acrylic paint from things. Love knowing Matte medium will keep paint from going under take when making tape lines. Thanks!
