The world is heavily dependent on microsoft isn't it!

@Hitesh I'm with Arpit on this. Essentially, for deep security scan CrorwdStrike runs on very low level Kernal mode. All hardware drivers as well runs in this mode. Now Microsoft obviously can't control all external devides and all who are pushing all kind of drivers to support their devices. Now one can argu that why MS is implementing protection around this. The issue is pushing protection(think that as exception theoratically) will definately degrade full system performance as this will affect everthing your TCP/IP stack,Graphics driver etc. So like everything else in software there is a tradeoff here.

The thing about linux, open source code in general, is more eyes sees its source code, that too 24x7. Therefore the probability of finding a bug and getting it fixed is far higher than closed sourced ones like Windows.

So is it a glorified 'Null pointer exception' or 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object'?
-
Did Crowdstrike not even run the antivirus in a VM or a PC before pushing the changes? Something seems to be off.

From last one week or so I'm having a weired problem with my Asus vivobook laptop ( windows 11 ), which is after booting the machine , sometimes ( the issue isn’t occurring always ) the keyboard is acting weired , i.e , if I press ‘c’ it types ck , if I press ‘d’ it does not print d , but if i hold the ‘d’ key then it starts printing d , and couple of other keys are also acting weird, but after some random time , it is getting fixed automatically…. Is anyone experiencing similar issues? Can anyone tell me if it is hardware or software related ?
