  • 😂😂 I am unlucky person whose windows worked fine whole day. Also safely I use Mac for Development.
  • I didn't know that such tragedy happened all around the world while I'm watching movies on my laptop, later I found out they using windows while I'm driving Linux 😅
  • LINUX user from last 5 years 😆😆😆 I can access & remove that file
  • No maker - checker ? No unit testing, No independent Testing or User Testing ? No Test Environment ? No IT department supervision ? No Mac ? No offline / Backup Server ? No Contingency Planning ? And all this after 9/11 ? - seriously which world do we live in ?
  • @neeraj_dama
Vincent Flibustier guy is a TROLL. He was not an CrowdStrike employee.
  • 0:47 I'm not living under the rock 🥺 I am just using Linux on my machine and sitting coding while the world is burning into the fire of blu
  • @jr.devasana
My whole day in the office was resolving the same issue. We managed to bringup 20% systems
  • I use Arch btw, have been on Linux since 2020 so I didn't even knew about this until my dad called and said windows not working in his office (and now your video) 😃
  • According to you , is this another message to move on to Linux ASAP if till now beginners or anyone out there is on windows ?

@Hitesh I'm with Arpit on this. Essentially, for deep security scan CrorwdStrike runs on very low level Kernal mode. All hardware drivers as well runs in this mode. Now Microsoft obviously can't control all external devides and all who are pushing all kind of drivers to support their devices. Now one can argu that why MS is implementing protection around this. The issue is pushing protection(think that as exception theoratically) will definately degrade full system performance as this will affect everthing your TCP/IP stack,Graphics driver etc. So like everything else in software there is a tradeoff here.

The thing about linux, open source code in general, is more eyes sees its source code, that too 24x7. Therefore the probability of finding a bug and getting it fixed is far higher than closed sourced ones like Windows.
  • Does it happen in personal laptops also I don't know cause I haven't been using my laptop for the past week I don't know if I should open it or not?
  • @AKJOSHI28
love your content sir ❤ , specially git series is mind-blowing, just small request sir, could you please make a one shot type video on TCL - tool command language, please.
  • @karajkot6735
So is it a glorified 'Null pointer exception' or 'Object reference not set to an instance of an object'?
  • Did Crowdstrike not even run the antivirus in a VM or a PC before pushing the changes? Something seems to be off.
  • From last one week or so I'm having a weired problem with my Asus vivobook laptop ( windows 11 ), which is after booting the machine , sometimes ( the issue isn’t occurring always ) the keyboard is acting weired , i.e , if I press ‘c’ it types ck , if I press ‘d’ it does not print d , but if i hold the ‘d’ key then it starts printing d , and couple of other keys are also acting weird, but after some random time , it is getting fixed automatically…. Is anyone experiencing similar issues? Can anyone tell me if it is hardware or software related ?
