Inside the sub: no shock wave and the sub didn't shake. Outside the sub: several explosions that can blow your eardrums 50 times.

I don't care how realistic this is but when I first saw those guns create a wall of protective bullets, I was blown away. Fucking beautiful.
  • @bballbeasty
I know it’s a film but I’ve always thought that if humans had this kind of faith in each other rather than suspicion and deception, we could build such a beautiful world together
  • @dannyx498
"No, they'll be firing on you" I didn't get this line at first. And it seems to come off as an insult. After rewatching this scene it totally make sense. Love how it demonstrate loyalty to their president

For the next 2 days, all output from the sub's reactors went to the laundry machines.

Hollywood stereotypes about Russians are very funny, we in Russia always laugh at this. I thought that now the fighting bears would appear and throw balalaika at the submarine! 😂
  • @AluminumOxide
3:44 I just love Durov's shocked and surprised look on his face, knowing that "it's over"
  • @Mycikakat
2:32 that scene is the purest gold of all gold; sound design, CGI, and every thing else.

According to the tactical principle, never arrange 2 rocket launchers close to each other and the radar vehicles are also located very far away, the director did not learn anything about the military.
  • @coolersmoke
Huge plot hole: If the Yevchenko's CADS could neutralise 6 incoming missile travelling at full speed, it could even more easily blow two slow-launching Tomahawks right out of the sky. So the sub was absolutely no threat at all and the bluff just didn't exist.

In movies : 😎 In real life: ☠️🤣
  • The least they could have done is made the Russians in the Russian Ship speak Russian for Russian Sake lol
  • @Laotzu.Goldbug
"missiles are fueled and ready sir" > shoots missiles that are very clearly solid fuel

Quite rare to see war movies of this quality lately not to miss this Hunter killer Commandos, submarines, coup d'etat, many well-received situations make this film an excellent surprise. The casting does the job, the scenario spares the suspense and the fight scenes are rather realistic. Everything is not perfect but let's not sulk our pleasure.

I only have one question: Why are Submarine movies always Bloody Awesome! GB owned this role. Great movie Actor.

It is also worth mentioning that submarines do not launch missiles from the surface, this threatens to damage the skin. The launch is carried out from a certain depth of 50-100 meters, a large amount of gas is supplied to the cell containing the rocket and, due to the high pressure, the rocket flies out at high speed, flies out from under the water and flies up to a height of 40-50 meters, after which the engines will turn on. It is possible to launch from the surface position only from a certain type of submarine, and for this they are tipped a little on their side so that the rocket after departure does not damage the skin with a jet stream. Another silly point - the Russians used anti-ship missiles. Submarines are destroyed with the help of helicopters, which, thanks to special devices, find submarines and launch torpedoes or with the help of special ships. The missiles fired by the Russians are capable of destroying a ship, but not a submarine. And the last point - rockets don't explode like that. If they are conventional-fuel rockets, they will catch fire, explode slightly due to the ignition of the fuel, and fall into the water. There is also another type of rockets that fly due to their aerodynamics rather than fuel, and are more difficult to shoot down. Missiles do not explode instantly and completely, this is impossible.

US sub: "Batten down the hatches, boys. Big one coming our way" Russian ship: "Chill, little brother. I got this"
  • This is just an action movie but it has a deep meaningful story within. It tells of how in the end militaries all over the world have the same duty to defend not to wage war but all it takes is just a group of small people to bring nations to war with one another....an that is how it has always happened, sadly!!
