Did anyone else get that warning on your mobile phone? I got it, and about 5 seconds later, it hit. That was impressive!

We get a 5.0 in this area every couple of years…. No damage at my home in the southern end of Bakersfield. There were more aftershocks than we usually get from one in that area. Btw, my mother lived through the 7.5 earthquake while living in the town of Arvin in 1952. I’ll have to call her tomorrow and tell her about this one!

Dr. Lucy Jones has been retired from Cal Tech for years…..yet….we only want to hear from her when we get a quake…she’s very beloved 🫶🏼

I felt it, it was weird because only my bed felt like it was moving, but my window curtains didn't move at all as they usually do. I'm in South Central LA

My phone and tablet started going crazy simultaneously buzzing some sorta alert. The alerts.shook me more than the quake did..🤣

I got the early warning and took cover but felt nothing. Still, better to have a warning and feel nothing than not to have a warning for an actually large earthquake.
