  • Props to the Emergency Alert System. It actually worked and alerted my phone 15 seconds before the rolling wave hit.

Didn’t feel it, but I got the alert. In LA, stay safe fellow Californians!

Didn't feel anything, After the 1989 and the 1994 ones, it really has to be strong for me to notice.

It's was stronger than 5.2 for sure felt like a 5.7 when it officially stated. I'm in Porter ranch felt very strong.

I got the alert, took cover, and didn't feel it. Still, nothing wrong with something that amounted to more of an earthquake drill because I'd sure rather have that than not get a warning for one that's actually big.

It just means, that you should make an emergency kit, to be ready for a really big Earthquake

Just noticed on the map that they showed that the depth of the earthquake was very shallow. Which probably explains my the S-waves traveled further and shaking was noticeably felt over a hundred miles away. The shaking had less distance to travel overall than normal to reach uss
  • Was taking a Nap and the Bed was moving i thought my GF wanted a 2nd round 🥰🥰

It shook so hard it threw me out of my bed onto the floor, festooned with shards of broken glass, every time I moved I felt my flesh being torn from my bones...

All the oil wells in those red spots were fracked around 2011. 🤔
