Lot of you have been asking whether baking soda can be used in place of Papad Kharo and so I have been experimenting for some time now and I actually love the result with baking soda more than Papap kharo. So these days, I make Khichu Papadi lot with baking soda.

Khichu Lot Ingredients:
1 cup water
1/2 cup Rice Flour (Chawal Atta)
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeer)
1/2 tsp Carom Seeds (Ajawayan)
1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds (Til)
1/4 tsp Baking soda
Salt to taste
Green Chili paste per taste

    Hi Bhavna... its a good option if we dont want to take out tbe steam vessel😊...i generally add loads of cilantro to it ..it tastes awesome
