I worked for Wendy's in 1979. They told us the patties were square because at Wendy's, we don't cut corners.

It's nice to see Dave Thomas again. He always seemed like such a kind, genuine guy on TV. For the younger people, he used to be in all the Wendy's commercials up until the early 2000s when he died.

I worked at a Wendy’s in Dallas during the mid 90’s. I got a chance to meet Dave and I can attest, the man was probably the most generous boss that a restaurant chain could ever have.

I learned sandwiches and grill for Wendys from these videos. That was 1992. It’s 2023 and I still remember the songs. If that isn’t a testament to power of these training videos I don’t know what is.

I have to be honest, this is an effective training video. I seriously think I could make a perfect Wendys single or double on my first try now.
