I really hope EGX recovers properly and regains the attraction of more exhibitors next year. 2011-2015 EGX were filled to the brim with upcoming AAA releases to play, whereas the most recent few have been a real let-down in terms of Exhibitor turnout, leaving the show floor feeling more like a retail convention than a Gaming one. I'd love to see EGX return to form.

What happened to EGX? And what happened to PlayStation and Xbox? Where is the competition between these two? This is not limited to EGX, it's all of the events recently. Gamescom has been without PlayStation for a few years now. I did saw their marketing in Germany restructured after Jim Ryan announced his retirement. They are ramping up with 90 staff so maybe they will return for next year. I think it's important for EGX to have new releases. PlayStation got games like Spider-Man 2 coming out and Helldivers 2. I don't like this online based that PlayStation has been running for the past 3 years. COVID is over. Why Xbox has skipped EGX last year and this year had something to do with CMA and ABK deal. Hopefully next year everyone will be back. That ABK deal has sucked the air out of Xbox and Jim Ryan.
